Yesterday morning, Tom Holland announced on Instagram that Marvel fans across the world had been enlisted to help launch the first Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer.

What followed was a 24-hour-long hourly chain, with accounts of all sizes—ranging from regular fans to influencers and celebrities—uniting in their love for Spider-Man by sharing brief clips from the teaser ahead of its official launch earlier today.

Among them was Formula 1 driver Esteban Ocon. The Haas driver is a well-known Spider-Man fan, and he donned the wall-crawler's mask while representing his home country of France.

"Hi, everyone! I'm super excited to be part of the launch of the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer," Ocon says in the video below. "I've been a huge fan of this character for as long as I can remember. I travelled all over Europe in a truck with Sam Raimi's trilogy. It's almost as if I grew up with Spidey."

The Formula 1 driver has previously worn custom-made helmets inspired by Captain America, Spider-Man, and Venom. Given his very real Marvel fandom, we can only imagine what a special moment this was for him.

As we write this, Ocon is 16th in the F1 Drivers' Championship standings with 0 points. However, we are only two races into the season, and the Frenchman hasn't had the best of luck thus far. His teammate, Ollie Bearman, is in fifth with 17 points, so we'd expect Ocon to score some serious points in the coming months.

You can check out Ocon's Spider-Man: Brand New Day announcement, along with the full trailer, below.

Following the record-breaking success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day begins a brand new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult and living alone after erasing himself and the memories of him from those he loves.

In a New York that no longer knows his name, he has devoted himself wholeheartedly to protecting his city as Spider-Man full-time. But as the demands on him grow, he is put under increasing pressure. This triggers an unexpected physical change that threatens his existence, while a strange wave of crime emerges - and gives rise to one of the most dangerous threats he has ever faced.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day's cast includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Sadie, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo.

The movie is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers. The film is produced by Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad and Rachel O'Connor.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters on July 31, 2026.
